Levonika Jackson is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the state of Texas to provide primary care to a diverse patient population. She began her career in nursing as a Registered Nurse at Ben Taub General Hospital. The scope of her practice encompasses disease prevention, community education and outreach, nutritional and hormonal balance, and health promotion.
In addition to her extensive experience, Levonika also has an outstanding academic background that includes two Bachelor’s degrees (a BS in Health and a BSN in Nursing), a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, and she is set to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) starting in August of 2017.
Levonika’s greatest passion is empowering patients with knowledge and resources to make healthy lifestyle decisions with a focus on preventative health. She knows that health and wellness encompasses the whole patient; therefore, she makes a great effort to be attentive and thorough to show patients her true dedication to their health concerns and needs. Levonika’s true desire is to provide quality health care while building trusting relationships with patients.
